2024-25 TAX COLLECTION PERIOD
School property tax bills are mailed to owners in late August. Tax bills may be paid, without penalty, during the period of September 1 through September 30, 2024. All taxes paid or postmarked on or after October 1, 2024 shall bear an interest charge of two percent (2%) until October 31, 2024. All taxes paid or postmarked on or after November 1, 2024 shall bear an interest charge of three percent (3%) until November 7, 2024.
All taxes remaining unpaid after November 8, 2023 will be returned to the Essex County Treasurer for further collection.
PAYMENT OF TAXES
For the 2024-25 School Year may only be paid by check, money order, or Credit Card. No cash payments will be accepted. Options for school tax payments are listed below:
ONLINE PAYMENT:
Property owners have the ability to pay their bills through the GovPayNet link provided below. You will be required to enter a Bill# into the payment screen. Payments will only be accepted for amounts Paid in Full (if paid during penalty period, please include the interest amount with your full payment). NO PARTIAL PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
BY MAIL:
The Willsboro Central School District will also accept payments by mail via check or money order only. The payment will need to be in the exact amount due and made payable to “Willsboro CSD”. Please include the bottom portion of the tax bill and note the bill number on your check or money order as well. NO PARTIAL PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

The tax collector will be onsite at the school at the following dates and times for in-person tax collection. Payments will be accepted via check, money order or credit card only. NO PARTIAL PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
